David B. Young

David B. Young, 52, of Santa Rosa, Calif., formerly of Rector and Jonesboro, died Monday, Sept. 22, 2008, at Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital.

He was born Nov. 16, 1955, in Tampa, Fla. He was a banker, having served a few years ago as president of The Bank of Rector. He also worked for several banks while he resided in Jonesboro.

He is survived by his father, Kenneth F. Young of Jonesboro; his children, William Stephens David Young and Laura Anne Young, both of Jonesboro, and brothers, Steve Young of Peoria, Ill., and Tim Young of Los Angeles.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Ada Louise Harris Young.

Memorial services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 4, at Southwest Church of Christ in Jonesboro with Richard Aikens officiating. Langford-Bookout Funeral Home assisted the family with the arrangements.
