Norman Clarence (Jack) Calvin, 72, of Rector died Thursday, Oct. 9, 2008, at his home.

He was born April 4, 1936, in Marmaduke to the late Everett (Slats) and Blanche (McLain) Calvin. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by

his twin sister, Addie (Jill) Calvin, and one daughter, Kristie McConnell.

He is survived by his wife, Jayne (Duffel) Calvin; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Allicia and Robert Wiseman of Wyoming, Courtney Calvin of Rector and

Kaycee and Tracy Glasgow of Pargould; one brother, Joe Calvin of Paragould; three sisters, Donna McGovern of Mississippi, Trisha Vangilder of Louisiana and Karen King of Texas; seven grandchildren, Jeffrey Heim, Mandi Kimble, Candi Franks, Kaylee Calvin, Addie Parrish, Jack Henry and Jillian Glasgow, and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 12, at Irby Funeral Home in Rector with Bro. Marston Carpenter officiating. Interment was in Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector.
