Joseph L. Bolton Jr., 45, of Piggott died Monday, Oct. 27, 2008, at Piggott Community Hospital.

He was born Nov. 21, 1962, in Rector to Joe Bolton Sr. and Lola Allison Brown. He was married March 27, 2004, to Jana Broadway.

Survivors include his wife, Jana Bolton of Piggott; his father, Joe Bolton Sr. and wife Viola of Piggott; his mother, Lola Brown and husband Bill of Paragould; seven children, Miranda Bolton, Sarah Bolton, Alex Bolton, Carrisa Mattison and husband Jason, Daniel Braden, Jaime Houchins and husband Monty and Elizabeth Reeves and husband David; six grandchildren, Jase Mattison, Richard Brockway III, Logan Brockway, Evelyn Brockway, Damien Houchins and Colton Braden, and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, Oct. 29, at Hoggard and Sons Chapel with Tom Newman, Mark Book and Gary Laughlin officiating. Burial was in Mitchell Cemetery at Greenway.

Pallbearers were David Reeves, Jason Mattison Sr., Alexander Bell, Tim Broadway, Tom Bell, Sean Martin, Daniel Braden and Eddie Howell with Jason Mattison Jr. serving as honorary pallbearer.

Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home of Piggott was in charge of arrangements.
