Bonnie Faye Sutherland

Bonnie Faye Sutherland, 81, of Rector died Thursday, Oct. 23, 2008, at Belle Meade Nursing Home in Paragould, where she had been a resident for the last year.

She was born Aug. 17, 1927, to the late Dempsey and Stella (Little) Evans. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Teddy Sutherland Sr.; one son, Teddy Sutherland Jr., and two sisters, Leona Evans and Roberta Evans.

She is survived by one son and his wife, Danny and Peggy Sutherland of Rector; one daughter and her husband, Fayetta and Randall Baalman of Michael, Ill.; 10 grandchildren, Joseph Boyd II, Sharon Davis, Julie Sanders, Scott Baalman, Kevin Sutherland, Tracey Sutherland, Jeffrey Sutherland, Carla Essman, Danny Sutherland Jr. and Todd Sutherland.

Funeral Services were at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, at Irby Funeral Home in Rector with Evan Smith officiating. Interment was in New Liberty Cemetery.
