Adrian Maurice Harp

Adrian Maurice Harp, 85, of Rector, died Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2008, in the Castleman North Nursing Home in Indianapolis, Ind.

Born Sept. 5, 1923, in Rector to the late Thomas Owen and Madge (Fitzgerald) Harp, he was in the Marines, a mechanic and a school bus driver. He was married May 9, 1947, to Jewel Lee Beard, who preceded him in death.

Survivors include one son, Thomas Owen Harp of Cory, Ind.; three daughters and sons-in-law, Marcia and Charles Keppler of Concord, Mich., Donna and Gregg Smith of Indianapolis and Robin and John Mitchell of Greencastle, Ind., numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 3, at Woodland Heights Cemetery with Ken Roden officiating. Irby Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
