Jimmy Wayne "Milo" Ort

Jimmy Wayne "Milo" Ort, 54, of Piggott died Monday, Oct. 27, 2008, at the home of his daughter in Nashville, Tenn. He was born Dec. 1, 1953, in Piggott to Sally (McCormick) Ort and the late Cecil Ort. He worked as a mechanic at Fry International in Piggott for many years.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one brother, Rick Ort.

He is survived by his mother, Sally (McCormick) Ort of Illinois; one son, James Ort and wife Melanie of Illinois; two daughters, Tanya Stanton and husband Luis of Tennessee and Jennifer Horn and husband Billy of Missouri; one sister, Diane Welhelm of Illinois; 12 grandchildren, Corey, Courtney, James Jr., Steven, Haley, Sean, Kendra, Jordan, Charlie, Christian, Lace and Savanah, one great-grandchild, Elizabeth, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Nov. 1, in the Irby Funeral Home Chapel in Piggott with Bro. David Floyd officiating. Burial was in Piggott Cemetery. Pallbearers were Eric Weeks, Gene Johnson, Daryn Hicks, Terry Ackerman, Frankie Walker and Ben Weeks.
