Rob Rice (12) had a big night on offense and defense in Thursday's victory at Corning. Also shown is Piggott's Colby Lovelace (16) who had a good game on both sides of the ball as well.

The Piggott Mohawk offense and defense were both in fine form Thursday night,as the Tribe ended their season with a 21-0 win at Corning. The victory over the Mohawk's biggest rivals extended the Piggott record to 5-5 overall and 3-4 in 3A-3 play while the Bobcats fell to 3-7 and 2-5.

Rob Rice caught a Daniel Baldwin pass for a 90 yard touchdown on the first Mohawk play from scrimmage, later in the first half Alek Samples carried it in from a yard out..and in the second half Justin Howell tacked-on the final touchdown. Michael Morgan was a perfect three-for-three on PAT'S as the Tribe rolled.

We'll have all the stats and details in the Nov. 12 print edition of The Piggott Times. More game photos may be found in our photo gallery section.
