Herlen D. Pruett

Herlen D. Pruett, 69, of St. Charles, Mo., formerly of Rector, died Sunday, Nov. 16, 2008, at St. Joseph Health Center in St. Charles.

Born Nov. 24, 1936, in Rector to the late Elmer Pruett and Avie Pruett, he was an electrical inspector for McDonnell Douglas and a member of the First Baptist Church in St. Charles.

Survivors include his wife, Nancy, of the home; two sons, Phil Pruett and Todd Pruett, both of St. Louis; grandchildren, Dryden and Rhett; two sisters, Allene (Maurice) McMillin of Trumann and Lois Oakley of Paducah, Ky.; one brother, Jim Pruett of Rector, nieces, nephews and many dear friends.

Funeral services will be at 12 noon Thursday, Nov. 20, at Baue Funeral and Memorial Center Chapel in St. Charles.
