Georgetta Digby

Georgetta Digby, 81, of Piggott, died Friday, Nov. 14, 2008, at Poplar Bluff Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Mo.

She was born March 22, 1927, in Qulin, Mo., and was the daughter of the late Alonzo and Rhoda Mae (Jordan) Fonville.

She also was preceded in death by her son, Randall D. Grider; daughter, Vickie Ann Noble, one brother and two sisters.

She is survived by two sons, Ronnie D. Grider and Donald R. Grider, both of St. Louis; two daughters, Connie Reagan of Leesburg, Fla., and Debra Kay Harris of Campbell, Mo.; nine grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, Nov. 18, in the Hoggard and Sons Chapel with Jerry Massey officiating. Burial was in the New Hope Cemetery at Pollard. Pallbearers were Mike Reagan, Bobby Harris, Pete Beckit, Russell Thee, Dan Noble and Donald Grider. Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home of Piggott was in charge of the arrangements.
