Jerry McKenzie

Jerry W. McKenzie, 65, of Piggott, died November 15, 2008, at St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro.

He was born September 2, 1943, in Piggott, and was the son of Dewey E. and Ottis (Wills) McKenzie.

He was united in marriage to Marguerite Guyett on Jan. 13, 1992.

His brothers Teddy and Dewey McKenzie and sister, Dorothy Moore preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife Marguerite McKenzie of Piggott; daughter, Rita McKenzie of Michigan; stepson, Paul Chapman of Texas; stepdaughter, Mary Theibault of Vermont; five grandchildren; brother, Charles McKenzie of Ohio; sisters, Lavern Walls of Michigan, Twila Smith of Ohio, Rita Patterson of Michigan, Sharon Davidson of Michigan and Sue Sherard of Michigan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and uncles and cousins.

Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home of Piggott was charged with the arrangements.
