Mary Peterson Curnette

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Arthur Curnutte, on Sept. 29, 2008; by her parents, Arthur (Otto) and Ruth (Coyle) Peterson of the Carryville community, and sister Carole Nutall of Piggott.

She is survived by two children, Dennis Curnutte and wife Emmy of New Hudson, Mich., and Diane Weir and husband Dale of Livonia, Mich.; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. In addition she is survived by three siblings, Shirley Stone of Piggott, Sheila Young and husband Burt of Gainsboro, Tenn., and Norman Peterson and wife Carol of Palatka, Fla.

She was born April 21, 1925, and graduated from Greenway High School in 1943. She migrated to Michigan during the war years and worked in factories. In 1949 she married Arthur Curnutte. Mary and Arthur were members of the Garden City Church of Christ.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, Nov. 12, in Livonia, Mich., with burial in the Parkview Memorial Cemetery.
