Lola Reed Wyatt

Lola Reed Wyatt, 79, of Marmaduke died Thursday, Nov. 20, 2008, at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould.

Mrs. Wyatt was born April 14, 1929, in the Tipperary community of Clay County. She was a member of the First Church of God in Paragould, where she was a Sunday School teacher and nursery worker. She worked at St. Joseph Hospital in Mishawaka, Ind., for 20 years and returned to Arkansas upon her retirement.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Arl and Esther Reed; twin daughters, Sandra and Linda Wyatt; a sister, Mildred Reed, and three brothers, Grimsley Reed, Sheral Reed and Doyle Reed.

Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Raymond Wyatt of Marmaduke; two sons and daughters-in-law, David and Bonnie Wyatt of Mishawaka, Ind., and Tim and Anna Wyatt of Farmers Branch, Texas; two daughters and a son-in-law, Brenda and David Smith of Mishawaka, Ind., and Laura Steggert of Buford, Ga.; four brothers and two sisters-in-law, Harold Reed, Dwight and Kathleen Reed of Paragould, Ralph and Lorena Reed of Welsh, La., and Thelbert Reed of Dearing, Ga.; one sister and brother-in-law, Wilma and Dewan Lemonds of Marmaduke, 11 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 22, at Mitchell Funeral Home in Rector with Kevin Edgar officiating. Burial was in Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector.

Pallbearers were her grandsons, Johnny Francis, Adam Francis, Jason Francis, Tylor Smith, Stephen Steggert and Mathew Wyatt.

Honorary pallbearers were her granddaughters, Angel Wyatt, Christina Steggert and Hilda Beth Wyatt.

Mitchell Funeral Home of Rector was in charge of arrangements.
