Bruce Allen Day

Bruce Allen Day, 54, of Caro, Mich., died Monday, Nov. 17, 2008, at his home. He was born Dec. 5, 1953, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Billy and Eula Day. He was an 18-year veteran of the United State Marine Corps and loved hunting and fishing in his spare time. He was an outstanding football player at Lakeville High School and was recruited by the Naval Academy to play football.

Funeral services were held Friday, Nov. 21, in Otisville, Mich., with Rev. Clarence Moorehouse officiating.

He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Day; his sister, Sedwyn, and by his sons, Joe and Shaun.

He is survived by his wife, Becky, and daughter, Jessica, of Caro, Mich.; his mother, Eula Day Davison of Michigan; a brother, Charles "Patrick" Day and wife, Sandra, of Pollard; a sister, Reva Kidd and husband, Mike, and three grandchildren, Tyler, Christian and Austin.

Hudson Funeral Service of Caro was in charge of arrangements.
