Leslie Earl Ingram, 95, of Piggott died Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2008, at Piggott Community Hospital.

He was born July 30, 1913, in Pollard and was the son of the late Jim and Nora (Johnson) Ingram.

He was married Sept. 18, 1932, to Nevada Leonard.

Survivors include his wife, Nevada Ingram of Piggott; three daughters, Anna Lindamood and husband Donald of Hendersonville, N.C., Barbara Tipling and Janet Smith, both of Dyersburg, Tenn.; 10 grandchildren, Michael Lindamood, Laura Cass, Jennifer Hamberg, Margo Shull, Terry Malesky, James "J.L." Tipling, Billy Smith, Les Smith, Brian Smith and Kevin Smith; 24 great-grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; his brother, Ethridge Ingram of Los Alamito, Calif.; his sister, Pauline White of Raleigh, N.C., and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Nov. 22, in the New Hope Baptist Church at Pollard with Loy Culver officiating. Burial was in New Hope Cemetery. Pallbearers were Michael Lindamood, Billy Smith, Leslie Smith, Brian Smith, Kevin Smith, J.L. Tipling and Les Smith. Honorary pallbearers were Ethridge Ingram, Jerry Murphy and Donald Lindamood. Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home of Piggott was in charge of arrangements.
