Julia R. Masters

Julia R. Masters, 69, of Albany, Ind. died Monday November 24, 2008, at her home. She had been battling cancer since retiring in 2001 from Muncie Newspapers where she worked since 1965. Julia was born in Piggott April 1, 1939. She graduated from Piggott High School and attended Harding University in Searcy, for two years. She moved to the Albany area in 1962.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Larry M. Masters; her son: Bryan Masters of Albany; a brother: John Magee and wife Judy of Conway, Ark. a niece and two nephews.

There will be no funeral services as was her request. Memorial contributions may be sent to Cancer Services of Delaware County (Little Red Door), 401 West Jackson Street, Muncie, Ind. 47305.
