Roberta Watson

Roberta Watson, 81, of Corning died Friday, Nov. 28, 2008, at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould. She was born April 9, 1927, in Pollard to the late Robert and Rhoda Baker and was married Oct. 30, 1944, to Pete Watson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, David Watson.

She is survived by her husband, Pete Watson of Corning; a son, Jim Watson of Corning; daughter-in-law, Patty Watson-Scheer of Corning; two grandchildren, Chad Watson and Aaron Watson of Corning; a brother, David Baker of Heber Springs; a sister, Jean Wilkie of Heber Springs; special nephew, Greg Watson of Franklin, Tenn., and five great-grandchildren, Chase, Kelsey, Kenlie, Hannah and Daniel Watson.

Funeral services were held Sunday, Nov. 30, in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Thavuis Lewis officiating. Burial was in Corning Cemetery. Ermert Funeral Home of Corning was in charge of arrangements.
