Mark Lockard

He was born Sept. 28, 1962 in Lincoln Park, Mich., and was the son of Ronald and Frances (Raney) Lockard. He was affiliated with the Emmanuel Baptist Church and was a mechanic and carpenter by trade.

Survivors include his parents; one son, Mark Goldfadden of Dearborn, Mich.; one sister, Paige Lockard of Piggott; brothers, Shane Lockard and wife Denise of Piggott, Don Shelton and wife Christina of Wyandotte, Mich., and Bill Lockard and Darren Maynard, both of Wharncliff, W.Va.; three sisters, Ronda Bullinger and husband David of Rector, Vonceil Lockard of Missouri and Kim Lockard of Wharncliff, W.Va.; one foster daughter, Maggie Armstrong of Rector; caregiver Chris Gilkinson of Piggott, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, Dec. 3, at the Irby Funeral Home Chapel in Piggott with Rev. Kim Bridges officiating. Burial was in Mars Hill Cemetery near Piggott.

Pallbearers were Luke Lockard, Chris Gilkinson, Dink Butler, Donald Shelton, Brian Little, Tim Eades, Daniel Isabell and Douglas Lockard.

Irby Funeral Home of Piggott was in charge of arrangements.
