Almarita R. Frenkel

Almarita R. Frenkel, 84, of Marmaduke died Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2008, at Evergreen Health and Rehabilitation Center in Rector.

She was born Sept. 25, 1924, to the late Thomas Cecil and Beulah Grace (Province) Ray in Greene County.

She is survived by a son, Stephen Gaultney of West Virginia, and a daughter and her husband, Carol Anne and Jim Stone of Rison.

She had six grandchildren, Mary Stone Small (Lendell) of Rector, Doug Stone (Yuki) of Okinawa, Japan, Billy Stone (Mary Beth) of Michigan, Christa Hope Stone Ermert (Jerry) of Piggott, Steven Gaultney of Texas, Denise Gaultney of Texas and 16 great-grandchildren.

She was cremated and had requested that no service be held.

The family has asked that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society.
