Born Aug. 2, 1942, in Clay County to the late Albert and Opal Bullinger, she was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
She also was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Shipley; three brothers, James, Wayne and Gene Bullinger, and one sister, Donna Carolyn Bullinger.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Melvin and Virginia Shipley of Nimmons; three daughters, Donna Clark and husband Mike of Pleasant Plains, Darnell Shipley and Roger Raney of Marmaduke, and Beverly Shipley and Wayne Sheppard of Poplar Bluff; one brother, Lindle Bullinger of Rector; one sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and Bud Nelson of Holcomb, and seven grandchildren, Justin, Shawnee, Brian, Huston, Sierra, Amber and Samual.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 15, at Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Larry Cox officiating. Burial was in Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector with Mitchell Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers were Jerry Nelson, Damon Banks, Brian Tucker, Kameron Rosendahl, Roger Raney and Mike Clark.
