Albert Richard Faughn

Albert Richard Faughn, 71, of Paragould, died Sunday, Jan. 11, 2009, at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould. He was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, husband, sibling and friend and loved the outdoors. He was a member of Center Hill Church of Christ.

He was born Feb. 11, 1937, the son of the late Wilford and Helen Gaithy Schott Faughn. He also was preceded in death by his infant sister.

He is survived by his wife, Doris Faughn, of the home; daughter and son-in-law, Vickie Lee and Ken Roden of Rector; son and daughter-in-law, Carey Richard and Renee Faughn; sister, Nancy Hazlewood; brothers, Robert Faughn and Alfred Faughn, all of Paragould; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

His life will be celebrated at 10 a.m. today (Wednesday, Jan. 14) at Heath Colonial Chapel with Ken Roden and Jon Binkley officiating. Interment will follow at Pine Log Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Ricky Faughn, Steven Powell, Kyle Roden, David Romine, Don Walls and Ken Box. Honorary Pallbearers are Bob Box, Ricky Walls, Terry Hazlewood, Tommy Hazlewood, Gary Hazlewood, Jeremy Wortham, Phillip Faughn, Edwin Faughn, Michael Ogles and Mike Lankford.
