James McKuin, 73, of Rector died Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2009, at his home.

He was born Sept. 18, 1935, in Plumerville to the late Joe Henry and Lou Virgie

(Cates) McKuin.

He was of the Baptist faith, an Army veteran and a truck driver.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Wanda Lee (Robertson) McKuin of the home; a son and his wife, Rick and Debra McKuin of Rector: two grandchildren, Amanda

Patrick and her husband, Eric, of Campbell, Mo., and Joseph McKuin of Rector: two great-grandchildren, Mabrey and Connor Patrick; a brother, Thomas and Donna McKuin of Fairfax, Va., and two sisters, Laverne Kreck of Kennett, Mo., and Latha Mayberry of Corunna, Ind.

Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 10, in the Irby Funeral Home Chapel in Rector with Terry Wallace officiating. Interment was in Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector.
