Jerry David Garrison

Jerry David Garrison, 71, of Meadows Health and Rehabilitation of Corning, formerly of Pollard, died Thursday, Jan. 15, 2009. He was born Sept. 8, 1937, at Pollard and was the son of the late Asa and Nola Elizabeth (Parker) Garrison.

He was a member of the Don Martin Center in Corning and the Special Olympics team.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Deloyd Garrison, Paul Garrison and Don Norris, along with two sisters, Georgia Darnell and Linda K. Parker.

He is survived by his sister, Mary Francis Henson and husband Jesse of Plainview; a loving niece, Gracelin Morrow of Cash, and other nieces and nephews.

Graveside services and interment will be announced at a later date and will take place at New Hope Cemetery at Pollard.

Irby Funeral Home of Piggott was in charge of arrangements.
