Mrs. Eddie Joe Henderson

Mrs. Eddie Joe Henderson, 80, of Manila, formerly of Rector, died Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2009, at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould.

She was born Aug. 19, 1928, at Holland, Mo., to the late Rufus V. and Lillie Jones. She was a Baptist and was a member of the Purcell Church for many years.

She is survived by her husband, William H. Henderson of Manila; four sons, Jacky Henderson and wife Teresa, Tony Henderson and wife Paula and Terry Henderson, all of Manila, and Dennis Henderson and wife Tammy of Blytheville; a daughter, Debra Adams of Marshfield, Mo.; two brothers, Bud Jones of St. Louis and Bob Jones of Essex, Mo., nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Friday, Jan. 16, in the Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel at Rector with Bro. William Percy officiating. Burial was in Purcell Cemetery. Pallbearers were Randy Scroggins, Billy Holt, Thomas Smith, Chris Henderson, John Henderson and Ryan Henderson. Honorary pallbearer was Kent Holt.
