Eddie Joe Henderson

Eddie Joe Henderson, 80, of Manila, formerly of Rector, died Tuesday, Jan. 13, at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould.

Born Aug. 19, 1928, in Holland, Mo., she was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. She was a member of the Purcell Church for many years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Rufus V. and Lillie Jones.

Survivors include her husband, William H. Henderson of the home; four sons and daughters-in-law, Jacky and Teresa Henderson, Tony and Paula Henderson and Terry Henderson, all of Manila, and Dennis and Tammy Henderson of Blytheville; one daughter, Debra Adams of Marshfield, Mo.; two brothers, Bud Jones of St. Louis and Bob Jones of Essex, Mo.; nine grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 16, at Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel in Rector with Bro. William Percy officiating. Burial was in Purcell Cenetery with Mitchell Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers were Randy Scroggins, Billy Holt, Thomas Smith, Chris Henderson, John Henderson and Ryan Henderson. Honorary pallbearer was Kent Holt.
