Christine Joann Parker

Christine Joann Parker, 68, died January 29, 2009 at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett. She was born November 14, 1940 in Rector and was the daughter of the late William Everett and Maggie Morine (Williams) Rieves.

On Sept. 8, 1956 she married Virgil (Dutch) Parker, and he preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Lonna Marie Parker; two brothers, J.W. Lack and Bob Lack and one sister, Evelyn Williams.

Survivors include her three daughters, Teressa Dianne Johnson and husband Gary of St. Francis, Lisa Ann McKay and husband Thom of New Madrid, Mo. and Cindy Lea Graves of Nashville; one sister, Gwendolyn Rodery of Pinkerton, Mich.; two grandchildren, Ricky Holloway and family and Krystal Foster and family all of Campbell; six great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held Monday, Feb. 2 in Hoggard and Sons Chapel with Shawn Parker officiating. Burial was in the Piggott Cemetery. Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home of Piggott was charged with the arrangements.
