Carolyn Gulzow

Carolyn Gulzow, 59, of Lakewood, Colo., formerly of Rector, died Monday, Feb. 23, 2009, after a long bout with cancer.

She was born June 6, 1949, in Wynne to Aleen Bozarth and the late Gene Bozarth.

She also was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Roy Bozarth.

Carolyn graduated from Rector High School in 1967. She proudly served her country with a 37-year career with the U.S. Department of the Interior, retiring in 2008.

She leaves behind a loving family consisting of her husband, Dr. Monte Gulzow; her mother, Aleen Bozarth, and her sister, Jean Vance, all of Lakewood, Colo., and a sister, Betty Jones of Beebe.

Agape Mortuary in Littleton, Colo., will be in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be sent to the American Cancer Society.
