Velma Reed Warbritton Duncan

Velma Reed Warbritton Duncan, 74, of Fort Smith died Feb. 28, 2009, in Fort Smith.

She was born Feb. 15, 1935, in St. Louis, the daughter of Mildred and Edgar Reed.

She was preceded in death by her son, Larry Warbritton, and siblings Bonnie Thacher, Dorothy Reed, Elbert Reed and Gerald Reed.

She is survived by sons Jimmy Warbritton of San Antonio, Texas, Eric Warbritton of Hardy, Terry Warbritton of Pollard and Billy Duncan of Oklahoma; a daughter, Brenda Wyble of Cherokee Village, and siblings James Reed, Betty Phillips Deen, Zettie West, Mary Jane Dees and Robert Reed, all of Piggott.
