David Franklin (Frank) Howard, 72, of Marmaduke died Saturday, March 14, 2009, at his home.

He was born July 3, 1936, in Red Onion, Ark., to the late David and Dellar Howard. He was a provider and member of Oak Grove Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Daisy Howard of the home; four children, Donna and Wayne Howard of Cardwell, Mo., Glenn and Maria Howard of Lafe, Sharon and David Bishop of Marmaduke and Beverly and Kenny Oden of Marmaduke; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two brothers, Carl Rogers and Amos Rogers of Paragould; one sister, Bert Forbs of Paragould, and a host of family and friends.

Visitation will be at 6 p.m. today (Wednesday, March 18) at Irby Funeral Home in Marmaduke.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 19, at the Oak Grove Church of Christ with Dwight Harrison officiating.

Pallbearers will be Chestle Caldwell, Jeffrey Caldwell, Timmy Rogers, Jimmy Wiseman, Rodney Shipman and Roger Shipman. Honorary pallbearers will be Roger Forbs and Dusty Forbs.
