Electronic edition of The Piggott Times now available online

Wednesday, March 18, 2009
Complete editions of The Piggott Times are now available to on-line subscribers, as the newspaper advances its Internet presence with a new e-edition. "We're very excited to announce that our e-edition is now up and running," Times news manager Tim Blair noted. "Our new service will allow everyone with Internet access to connect to our website and read the entire newspaper on-line. For those who are tired of waiting on the mail for delivery of The Times, this offers the perfect alternative."

Those who subscribe to The Piggott Times will now be able, free of charge, to view the full newspaper online for the duration of their subscription. The online edition is available by noon each Wednesday by way of a link on our homepage, and current subscribers may enjoy the service for free. Others are welcome to subscribe for just $20 per year.

Current print subscribers may also renew and manage their subscriptions from the site using our Online Reader interface. The site is available at http://piggotttimes.ar.newsmemory.com/

From our user-friendly interface you'll be able to navigate the entire paper at the click of a mouse, while other navigational buttons allow you to increase size, view single or double pages, jump from page to page or even section to section and event print the story.

There are also quick and advanced search bars to find specific information. Readers also will be able to click on a headline or story and have the entire article open in adjoining window for easier reading.

The e-edition will include the entire newspaper, advertisements and the Flashlight section. There's also a Marketplace section where readers can review the various ads separate from the news content.

E-edition subscriptions are available both on-line at www.piggotttimes.com or by contacting The Piggott Times office at 870-598-2201.
