Douglas Gary Lutzke

Douglas Gary Lutzke, 72, of Springfield, Mo., died Friday, March 13, 2009, at St. John's Medical Center. He was born Aug. 15, 1936, in Albion, Mich., to William and Mary Juanita (Snyder) Lutzke. He was preceded in death by his father, William Lutzke, in April 2005.

He is survived by his wife, Jody Lee (Goodwin) Lutzke of Springfield; three children, Mitchell, Wendy and Theodore; grandchildren, Matthew, Gregory, Ryan, Tyler, Laura Elizabeth, Noah, Clementine, Tylor and Jesse; his mother, Mary Juanita Lutzke; two sisters, Marlene Plassman of Albion, Mich., and Karen Shilling of Florida, and his extended family.

He was idolized by too many people, both young and old, to mention. A memorial service was held at the Unity Church with Rev. Sue Baggett-Spears officiating.
