The PHS SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions) Club hosted an assembly last Friday to help inform students about the dangers of driving under the influence. Students Elise Watson, Tanner Murray, Conner Rodery and Paige Lockard play the part of teens out for the evening, and under the scrutiny of a traffic stop. Taking part were, from left-- Sergeant Sam Williams and Patrolman Jeremi Wicker of the Piggott Police Department and Deputy Luke Lane of the Clay County Sheriff's Department. Afterward the law enforcement officials answered a variety of questions, and local Shelter Insurance agent Tonya Coomer outlined how much a person's insurance would climb if they're convicted of a DUI or DWI.
