The banquet will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, April 30, at the Rector Community Center.
It will be a decidedly informal atmosphere at this year's event, which will feature a catfish dinner under the direction of Bowden Family Restaurant.
Reduced price tickets for this year's event are $10 for adults and $5 for students and children. Tickets are available at the NEA Innovative Training Center on Main Street in Rector or at the Rector Water Dept. office.
Those planning to attend are encouraged to purchase tickets no later than Wednesday (today) so that an accurate dinner count can be obtained. Limited tickets will be available at the door.
There will be no guest speaker at this year's banquet. Instead, there will be entertainment by the band TNT Express, as well as a special comedy routine. Prizes also will be given away, according to event organizers.
