Organizers have released the schedule for next week's 11th annual Piggott Heritage Park Car Show and Cruise, as the event is now at hand.

The majority of the activities, which regularly draw thousands to the Piggott area, will be held Saturday at Heritage Park. The day, which will kickoff with a breakfast from 6 to 9:30 a.m. at the park, will culminate with the big cruise beginning at 7 p.m. that evening.

Registration for those who were not pre-registered will be going on from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. that day, as over 500 custom and classic cars and trucks are expected to be on display at the park.

There also will be an opening ceremony at 8:30 a.m., and from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. there will be a variety of games and activities for those in attendance. Organizers report the Relay For Life teams from L.A. Darling and Aerial Bouquets will be operating games as fundraisers for their annual effort, and the Aerial Bouquets team will also be operating a concession stand on the square Saturday night following the cruise.

Throughout the day there will also be the popular "Car Blow-Up" along with a 50/50 drawing and musical entertainment. At 6:30 p.m. participants will begin to line up for the cruise, and that will get underway around 7 p.m. Afterward, on the downtown courtsquare, there will be live entertainment from "Kenny and the Flashbacks" as the public will have a chance to view the vehicles and visit with the owners. This has become a big part of the weekend's activities, and usually attracts several thousand spectators along the cruise route.

Sunday morning coffee and donuts will be served at 7 a.m. to participants at the park, followed at 9 a.m. by a gospel singing. At 10:30 a.m. special awards and the grand prizes will be presented, and the event is scheduled to wrap-up by noon.
