Winifred Brady

Winifred I. Brady, 86, of Piggott, passed away Tuesday May 19, 2009 at the Piggott Community Hospital. She was born November 18, 1922 in Piggott, and was the daughter of the late Louie and Lula May (Hogard) Settlemoir.

She was united in marriage to Fred Brady on December 27, 1941.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Brady; brother Shelton Settlemoir and sister Eulalia Mayo.

Survivors include two sons Meredith Brady and wife Gloria of Cedar Hill, Tex. and Douglas Brady and wife Leslie of Clarkston, Mich.; four grandchildren, Kevin Brady and wife Stephanie, Angela Schatzmann and husband Marcel, Matthew Brady and Mark Brady; three great-grandchildren, Aaron, Paige and Trey; sister, Velma Pritchard of Piggott and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held Saturday, May 23 in the Hoggard and Sons Chapel with Danny Self officiating. Burial was in Piggott Cemetery. Pallbearers were Matthew Brady, Mark Brady, Kevin Brady, Neil Brady, Gary Mayo and Marcel Schatzmann. Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home of Piggott was in charge of the arrangements.
