Larry Dale King of San Diego, Calif., passed away June 7, 2009 --- he was 53. He is survived by his wife Sheila (Webb) King, whom he married at Piggott, Jan. 25, 1975.

Larry's "love at first sight" experience blossomed into 34 years of true commitment and hard work through life's ups and downs with Shelia, ever faithful, by his side. Shelia says --- " I could just look at him and smile and my heart still would melt."

Larry is also survived by parents, Leon and Jan King of Willow, Alaska; wife's parents, Henry and Wilma K. Webb of Heber Springs; son, James King and wife Kelly of San Diego; daughter, Brandie Ansley and husband Troy of Rusk, Tex.; four grandchildren, Cassie, Audri, Colin and Caden; three sisters, Luanne Thurman, Kathy Comer and Laura Zaves, as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents and brother-in-law, Steven Webb.

Larry was born December 24, 1955, at Highland Park, Mich. He graduated from Dimond High School in Anchorage, Alaska. He was gifted in business management and operations as owner and CEO of Crown Industries, where he saw his dream of success in business become a reality.

He enjoyed football, four wheeling, fast-cars, and motorcycles but his greatest love was his family. He especially took pride in his grandchildren and found much happiness in sharing their lives. He was a man firm in his faith and belief in his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He is greatly loved by his family and will be greatly missed.

Services were held Friday, June 12, in the Hoggard and Sons Chapel in Piggott. Pallbearers were James King, Troy Ansley, Stacey Thurman, Bryce Webb, Dave Holland and Allen Dodge. Honorary pallbearers were his grandchildren, Cassie, Audri, Colin and Caden. Burial was in the Stanfield Cemetery at Clarkton, Mo., with Pastor Todd Shields officiating.
