Tony Wayne Jones was born September 2, 1943, to the late Euvene and
Zeffie (Marsh) Jones. He departed this life on June 3, 2009, at the
age of sixty-five years, nine months and one day.
Mr. Jones had served in the Navy and was a member of Smith's Chapel
General Baptist Church.
Survivors are his wife, Betty Jones of the home; sons and daughter-in-law, James and June Jones of Pollard, John Jones of Paragould and Rick Jones of Trumann; daughters and son-in-law, Eva and David Denney of Paragould and Amanda and Aderion Burnett of Pollard; two brothers, Jerry Jones and Ronnie Jones, both of Florida; two sisters, Loretta Kibler of Paragould and Shirley Ragsdell of
Searcy; 32 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were June 5, 2009, at 2 p.m. at the Irby Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Ernie Rinks officiating. Interment was at Harvey's Chapel Cemetery.
