Flagpole dedication set

With the assistance of Piggott city workers, the new flagpole was set in front of the Clay County Courthouse Monday afternoon. The new 41-foot pole was purchased through donations, and was placed with the blessings of the Quorum Court. An official dedication and flag-raising ceremony will be held at 2 p.m. today (Wednesday, July 1).
