Ila Marie Crow

Ila Marie Crow, 91, died July 8, 2009, at her home in Sterling Heights, Mich. She lived in Sterling Heights for 21 years and in Warren for 30 years. She was born in Piggott on August 16, 1917, to the late Harvey Gower and Grace Truman (Warren) Gower. She was a member of Parkview Church of Christ and retired from Martain Place Hospital in Madison Heights as a Housekeeping Executive.

She was wed to the late William Archie Crow on June 16, 1937, in Piggott. To this union three daughters were born, Dorothy Warren, Barbara Sue Kesler and Judy Ann Western.

Survivors include one daughter, Dorothy Warren and husband James A. of Troy, Mich., and one sister Johnnie King and husband Bill of Lexington, Ky.

In addition to her husband, Archie, and her parents, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Barbara Sue Kesler and Judy Ann Western.

Visitation was held Thursday, July 9, at Price Funeral Home in Troy, Mich., and funeral services followed.

Funeral services were Saturday, July 11, at the Irby Funeral Home chapel in Piggott with grandchildren officiating. Interment followed in the Piggott Cemetery. Pallbearers were Joey Kesler, Jeffrey Western, John Mark Western, Rogers Clayton, David Curtis and Justin DeWitte.

Arrangements were handled by Price Funeral Home of Troy, Mich., and Irby Funeral Home of Piggott.
