Ralph Fredrick Waller

Ralph Fredrick Waller, son of the late Joseph Andrew Waller and Clara (Rothley) Waller, was born June 5, 1921, in Holcomb, Mo., and departed this life July 11, 2009, at the age of 88 years, one month and six days at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.

A resident of Piggott, Ralph served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was a member of the Jehovah Witness Congregation at Piggott.

Ralph married Lois Brooks and later married Bonnie Woods. They both preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Joseph and Thomas Waller, and two sisters, Nora and Clara.

Survivors include one daughter, Phyllis Shelby and husband Mike of Piggott; three grandchildren, Daryl Shelby and wife Angela of Kerhonkson, N.Y., Daniel Shelby and wife Amanda of House Springs, Mo., and Samantha Shelby of Piggott, along with two great-grandchildren, Elijah and Chloe Shelby.

Graveside services were held Wednesday, July 15, at Callaway Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Fulton, Mo. McDaniel Funeral Service of Kennett was in charge of the arrangements.
