Finals approach for tennis league

The Piggott Boy's Summer Tennis League will conclude this Thursday, July 23, with their annual tournament. The league, which is under the direction of PHS tennis coach Paul Seegraves, has been going on the past several weeks at the municipal tennis courts in Piggott.

The schedule for this week's tournament is as follows--at 5:30 p.m. top seeded Beau Wicker will play eighth seeded Austin Raspberry and fourth seeded Quinton Mauldin will take on fifth seeded Trevor Grubb. At 6 p.m. number-two seeded Mark Greaney will play seventh seeded Hunter Holcomb and third seeded Jacob Wellman will face sixth seeded Josh Stone.

The championship match is expected to be played around 8 p.m. and spectators are welcome to attend.
