Rava Nell White

Rava Nell White, 77, of Paragould, died Monday, July 13, at her residence. She was born in Hollywood, Mo., on Aug. 4, 1931, and was retired from Emerson Electric Co. in Paragould. She was a member of New Liberty Baptist Church and a member of the Pink Ladies Auxiliary at Arkansas Methodist Hospital.

Rava Nell was preceded in death by her parents, Horace Haywood and Alpha Margaret Langston Stokes, and by a grandson, Michael Wayne Golden.

Survivors include her husband, William Wayne White of the home; daughters and sons-in-law, Bonita and Donald Edgin, Diane and Mike Robinson of Paragould; one sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Bill Vangilder of Rector; grandson, Kristian Lee Davenport of Austin, Ark., serving in Afghanistan; granddaughter, Mattie Elizabeth Robinson of Paragould; step-grandchildren, Houston and Nevada Edgin, and step great-grandchildren, Nataly and Hayden Edgin, all of Paragould.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 15, at the Heath Colonial Chapel in Paragould with Reverends Bob Ivy and Dave White officiating. Burial followed at Greene County Memorial.

Pallbearers were Ricky white, Dennis White, Harvey Joe Stokes, Curtis Loar and Eric Clayton. Honorary pallbearers were Spencer Gramling, men of New Liberty Baptist Church and Drew White.

Lasting memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or St. Bernards Hospice.
