She was born November 4, 1921, at Carryville, and was the daughter of the late Martin Luther and Ethel (Henson) Stephens.
She was united in marriage to Howard Crowson Dec. 1, 1940.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Stephen Crowson; sisters, Eunice Butler and Ellen O'Dell; brothers, Elbert Stephens, John Stephens, Leonard Stephens and an infant brother Martin Stephens.
Survivors include her husband, Howard Crowson of Greenway; daughter-in-law, Mary Ann Crowson of Piggott; granddaughters, Kim and Karla Crowson, both of Little Rock; a sister, Ruth Conley of Piggott, along with other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 5, in the Hoggard and Sons Chapel with Lavon Smart and Scott Crain officiating. Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery in Greenway.
Pallbearers are Jon Conley, Brent Carr, Neil Crowson, Joe Crowson, Mike Morgan, Gaylon Rogers and Jeff Smart. Honorary pallbearers are Cole Conley, Al Butler, Mark Butler, Kelly Stephens and Ray Carr. Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home of Piggott is in charge of the arrangements.
