James Rex "Jack" Hardin

Jack Hardin, 79, of Rector passed from this life on August 14, 2009,at the Evergreen Nursing Home in Rector.

Jack was born July 17, 1930, to the late Claude and Iris (Hancock)Hardin in Rector.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife,Euba (Huffstutler) Hardin; three brothers, Larry, Leonard and Jerry Hardin; two sisters, Gwendlin Hardin and Sue Payne, and one half-brother, Paul Max.

Jack is survived by one son and his wife, Kem and Rhonda Hardin of Rector; one daughter, Sally Byars of St. Charles, Mo.; four grandchildren, Katie and Aaron Morris, Kristie Hardin, Kale Hardin and Amy Byars; three great-grandchildren, Rylee Morris, Kaycee Byars and Jakob Byars; four sisters, Velma Stahl of Boydsville, Jeanice Hatcher of Rector, Francis Bracken of Rector and Ella Chronister of

Piggott; three half-sisters, Irene Snyder of Rector, Button Penny of Rector and Corena Eagle of Rector, along with a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services were Sunday, August 16, at 2 p.m. with Brother Don Morris officiating at the Irby Funeral Home in Rector. Interment was in the Woodland Heights Cemetery. Visitation was Saturday from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Irby Funeral Home.
