Norred honored for years of service

Wanda Norred of Piggott recently retired as the office manager of the St. Francis Drainage District of Clay and Greene Counties, a job she had held for 35 years. At their meeting Tuesday the board of directors honored Norred with a resolution of appreciation for her years of service. Those on hand for the occasion included, from left--Harry Trumann Moore, attorney for the district, Rick Cooper, field manager, Don Caldwell, director, Roger Reddick, director, Norred, Sherland Hamilton, director, Vance Whaley, director and board chairman and James Thomas, director and board secretary. Norred first began working as the office manager in 1974.
