Betty Jane Jones, 58, of Pollard died Sunday, Sept. 6, 2009, at the Piggott Community Hospital.
She was born on December 12, 1950, and resided in Clay County her entire life. She was of the Baptist faith and worked as a Secretary until she became disabled.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Roy Lee and Agnus Gerline "Holifield" Fahr; her husband, Tony W. Jones; one brother, Billy Roy Fahr, and one sister Mary Fahr McKenney.
Survivors include three sons, James and June Jones of Pollard, John Jones of Paragould and Rick Jones of Trumann; two daughters, Eva and David Denney of Paragould and Amanda and Aderion Burnett of Pollard; two sisters, Lynda and Bill Dalton of Oklahoma and Cathy and Abe Davis of Mississippi; 32 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation was Wednesday, September 9th, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Irby Funeral Home in Rector. Services began at 12 p.m. immediately after the visitation. Brother Ernie Rinks officiated. Interment followed at Harvey's Chapel Cemetery in Marmaduke. Active pallbearers were Elvis Noles, Elvis Bryant, Ron Banning, Don Kibler, Jim Parks and Tucker Myers.
