He was born Dec. 9, 1931, to the late Oval and Annie Parrish.
He was also preceded in death by his wife, Helen Marie Parrish; brother, Allie Parrish, and one son, Cory Blake Parrish.
Survivors include five sons, Clayton and Judy Parrish, Dennis and Tina Parrish, Manzo and Terri Parrish, James and Shelly Parrish, all of Rector, and Ronald and Rose Parrish of Marmaduke; two daughters, Runita and Wayne Newell and Donna Myatt and companion Jackie White, both of Marmaduke; three brothers, Jim and Roseann Parrish of Lafe, Earl and Linda Parrish of Marmaduke and Don and Sue Parrish; one sister, Louise and Richard Vivrett of Kentucky; one sister-in-law, Dot Parrish; 19 grandchildren, Cindy Parrish and fiance, Donnie Horn, Justin and Chrystal Parrish, Tyleigh and Jim Hayes, Keith Parrish, Ronnie "Junior" and Robin Parrish, Buddy and Shanna Parrish, Isaac Parrish, Jean and Marcus Scherer, Christal and Shane Green, Joseph Parrish, Venetta and James Hargrove, Ida and John Emerick, Joshua and Kristi Newell, Jubal Newell, Derick and Ashley Parrish, Cassie and Drew Lucy, Heather and Adam Denton and Kyle Myatt; step-grandchildren, Tracey and Eugene Litchell, and 37 great-grandkids.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 25, at Irby Funeral Home Chapel in Marmaduke with Bro. Ernie Rinks officiating.
Pallbearers were Isaac Parrish, Ronnie "Junior" Parrish, Derick Parrish, Joshua Newell, Keith Parrish and Justin Parrish. Honorary pallbearers were Jubal Newell, Joseph Parrish, Kyle Myatt and Buddy Parrish.
Burial was in Park Cemetery with Irby Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
