Kerry was a communication technician. He designed computer websites, programs and games and playing computer war games was among his favorite hobbies.
He was ordained as a minister at First Baptist Church of Piggott, and he has continued to serve in many capacities most recently at Spokane First Baptist Church. Kerry dedicated his life to his Lord, church and family.
Survivors include his mother, Lavern Smith; five brothers and sisters and their spouses, Carol and Don Dodd, Hobe Sound, Florida, Neal and Regenia Smith of Piggott, Joe and Sheila Smith and Judy and Walter Hall of Galena and Crystal and Dewayne Rice of Reeds Spring; nine nieces and nephews, Ken Dodd, Dawn Lum, Tessa Dees, Sara Smith, Logan Smith, Colby Hall, Maegan Hall, Caleb Hall and Kyndal Rice; a great-niece, Nyla Dees; an uncle residing in the home, Gary Moore, and other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Earl Smith.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Sept. 19, in Spokane First Baptist Church with Pastor Randall Harwood officiating. Burial was in Highlandville Cemetery.
The family suggests that memorials may be made to Spokane First Baptist Church. Adams Funeral Home of Nixa was in charge of the arrangments.
