SCCC golf tournament results

For the fourth time in five years, Barry DeHart took first place in the championship flight in the Sugar Creek Country Club individual tournament Saturday, Sept. 26. DeHart shot rounds of 65 and 67 to post a 132 and edge out second place Jackie Burdin and his 136. Third place went to Daniel Gossett with a 137 while Ashley McMillon and Kevin Jones tied for fourth with 139's.

DeHart has won the individual championship the past three years in a row, was edged out by Gossett in 2006, and also took the title in 2005.

The winner of "A" flight was Steve Blascoe with a 148, while Brett McMillon and Brad Hartwell tied for second with 149's and Randy Qualls took fourth with a 150.

First place honors in "B" flight went to Ron Fithian with a 152, Ron Kemp took second with a 154, Brian Gregory carded a 158 for third place and fourth place went to Larry McCoy with a combined 165.
