J.C. Miller

J.C. Miller, 73, of Piggott, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2009, at UAMS Medical Center in Little Rock.

He was born April 5, 1936, in Piggott, and was the son of the late Thomas and Clennie (Demay) Miller.

He was united in marriage to Elwanda Jones on Sept. 28, 1968.

His brother, Leonard Miller, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Elwanda Miller of the home; four sons, Jeff Miller of East Prairie, Mo., Paul Stahl of Bell City, Mo., Sam Stahl of Paragould, and Tim Stahl of Piggott; daughter Teresa Williams of Key West, Fla.; fifteen grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; three sisters, Joyce Harkness and Janice Swanson of St. Charles, Mo., and Betty Cooper of Troy, Mo. along with many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Sept. 26, in the Hoggard and Sons Chapel with Bro. Jay Masterson officiating. Burial was in Piggott Cemetery.
