passed from this life on Sept. 26, 2009, at the Baxter County
Regional Hospice House in Mountain Home.
Imogene was born June 18, 1918, to the late Thomas and Ellie (Hill)
Moore in Clay County, Ark.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband,
Wilson Copeland; a brother, Henry Moore, and two sisters, Harriet Ward
and Valeria Brandon.
Imogene is survived by a son and his wife, Shirrel and Shirley
Copeland of Cotter, Ark.; a son, Edward Copeland of Cotter; two
daughters and their husbands, Phyllis and Ray Brightwell of Winfield,
Mo., and Pansy and Glen Dimick of Cotter; six grandchildren, Scott
and Johnnie Copeland, Lance and Lisa Payne, Tina and Mike Hanners,
Cammie Wells, Jordan and Charlotte Dimick, and Michala and Michael Gallup, and seven great-grandchildren, Colin Copeland, Ryan and Rachael Payne, Zachery and Josh Hanners, Caedmon Dimick and Marygraace Gallup.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 28, 2009, at
the Irby Funeral Home in Piggott with Brother Mark Book officiating.
Interment was at the Mitchell Cemetery in Greenway. Visitation
was Sunday from 2 to 4 at the funeral home.
